A Bit About Me

My passion for horses started before I could walk and grew into a love for horses and equestrian competition. Growing up at Hallingbury Hall was complete 'horsey heaven'. Early starts before school and evening training afterwards in al weathers were worth it for the pure joy to be around these amazing creatures.

I love the journey with each horse and being able to discover their personalities, what works for each horse on the ground and under saddle.

Having the guidance and training from my mum (Sally Hardwick) from the beginning and Carl Hester since 2012 has helped immensely with my knowledge but I think you never stop learning.

I owe so much to my parents supporting me through everything and now I'm so lucky to have two wonderful children, who were on horses before they could walk. I also live with my brilliant, supportive partner, both my two super horses, a cheeky pony and a nutty Jack Russell dog to top it off. It's a wonderful mad house!

Competitive Journey

Early Years and Qualifications

Achievements

I did a variety of activities including Pony Club, British Dressage youth scheme and British Show jumping. I worked up the levels in Pony Club to achieve my A test, also doing BHSAI and Stage 4 exams, I also achieved UKCC level 3.

Dedication and hard work eventually paid off to give me the opportunity to compete in national and international competitions.

I was a memeber of 2012 British Dressage Young rider European team, with my horse Calvin G, where the team achieved 5th place.

I was selected as the British Dressage Young Professional of the year in 2012.

I was part of the 2016 British Dressage Under 25 European team. During this year me and my horse, Dounawein (Dude) were ranked 5th on the FEI world rankings for U25.

Dude and I were placed 4th at Aachen CDI Under 25 Grand Prix and we were the highest placed British combination.

I have won 10 International dressage titles, 3 British Dressage national titles and 12 BD regional championship titles.

I have trained a total of 8 horses from youngsters up to advanced level.

More Recently

In recent years I have been blessed with two amazing children along with my brilliant horses. I am truly loving the journey of training, competing and helping others achieve their personal success.

Joie De Vivre Prins

Stable name: Joie

17hh, 9 year old, gelding, Uphill/Expression

I have owned Joie since he was a 4 year old stallion, newly imported from Holland. Joie and I have had much success throughout the levels including placing 3rd in the 'British Dressage National 5 year old' at the National Championships 2019, and 3rd in the Novice Gold at the BD National Championship 2019. Recently (2023) Joie and I made the step up to PSG and Inter I, gaining high scores (76%) qualifying for the 2023 National Championships. He is showing fantastic talent for the Grand Prix work and we are loving the journey together.

Joie is the most softest, cuddly horse with a heart of gold. He lets my children sit on him, walk him around and, obviously, has lots of cuddles in the stable.

Santos S

Stable name: Santos

17.2hh, 5 year old, gelding, Sandro Hit/Dimaggio

Santos was bred in the UK by Ryan Shannon and he defiantly has the best of British breeding.Me and my Mum (Sally Hardwick) purchased Santos in early 2022, unseen and lightly backed. We have both totally fallen in love with his incredible attitude and amazing paces.

In his first year of competing, Santos qualified for the 2023 BD National Championships.

This horse has such a career ahead of him and I can't wait to show the world what he can do.
